There is a much more effective way of stopping the update checks, you will need to open up regedit (there isno need to run as administrator) and go to the following key:

1	`HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DownloadManager`

and then change the “LastCheck” and/or “LastTry” value to something like e.g.:

1	`[10/22/15]`

Then restart your computer and you will no longer be nagged!

I have always hated how Internet Download Managers developers have forced the “automatic update” us all of its users.

As well as sending sensitive (serial / license checking) data back to their servers, it also nags you to update!

If you want to put an end to this invasion of privacy, all you need to do it is simply add the following to your host file:

Introduction

This guide is intended to provide you with simple instructions on how to install Nagios from source (code) on Fedora and have it monitoring your local machine inside of 20 minutes. No advanced installation options are discussed here - just the basics that will work for 95% of users who want to get started.

These instructions were written based on a standard Fedora Core 6 Linux distribution.

What You'll End Up With

If you follow these instructions, here's what you'll end up with:

Nagios and the plugins will be installed underneath /usr/local/nagios
Nagios will be configured to monitor a few aspects of your local system (CPU load, disk usage, etc.)
The Nagios web interface will be accessible at http://localhost/nagios/

Prerequisites

During portions of the installation you'll need to have root access to your machine.

Make sure you've installed the following packages on your Fedora installation before continuing.

Apache
PHP
GCC compiler
GD development libraries

You can use yum to install these packages by running the following commands (as root):

yum install httpd php  yum install gcc glibc glibc-common  yum install gd gd-devel

1) Create Account Information

Become the root user.

su -l

Create a new nagios user account and give it a password.

/usr/sbin/useradd -m nagios  passwd nagios

Create a new nagcmd group for allowing external commands to be submitted through the web interface. Add both the nagios user and the apache user to the group.

/usr/sbin/groupadd nagcmd  /usr/sbin/usermod -a -G nagcmd nagios  /usr/sbin/usermod -a -G nagcmd apache

2) Download Nagios and the Plugins

Create a directory for storing the downloads.

mkdir ~/downloads  cd ~/downloads

Download the source code tarballs of both Nagios and the Nagios plugins (visit http://www.nagios.org/download/ for links to the latest versions). These directions were tested with Nagios 3.1.1 and Nagios Plugins 1.4.11.

wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/nagios/nagios-3.2.1.tar.gz  wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/nagiosplug/nagios-plugins-1.4.11.tar.gz

3) Compile and Install Nagios (Pastikan File yang terkini dan Folder yang telah extract)

Extract the Nagios source code tarball.

cd ~/downloads  tar xzf nagios-3.2.1.tar.gz         <- Lebih Perhatian ---<  cd nagios-3.2.1

Run the Nagios configure script, passing the name of the group you created earlier like so:

./configure --with-command-group=nagcmd

Compile the Nagios source code.

make all

Install binaries, init script, sample config files and set permissions on the external command directory.

make install  make install-init  make install-config  make install-commandmode

Don't start Nagios yet - there's still more that needs to be done...

4) Customize Configuration

Sample configuration files have now been installed in the /usr/local/nagios/etc directory. These sample files should work fine for getting started with Nagios. You'll need to make just one change before you proceed...

Edit the /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg config file with your favorite editor and change the email address associated with the nagiosadmin contact definition to the address you'd like to use for receiving alerts.

nano /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg

5) Configure the Web Interface

Install the Nagios web config file in the Apache conf.d directory.

make install-webconf

Create a nagiosadmin account for logging into the Nagios web interface. Remember the password you assign to this account - you'll need it later.

htpasswd -c /usr/local/nagios/etc/htpasswd.users nagiosadmin

Restart Apache to make the new settings take effect.

service httpd restart

Note: Consider implementing the ehanced CGI security measures described here to ensure that your web authentication credentials are not compromised.

6) Compile and Install the Nagios Plugins

Extract the Nagios plugins source code tarball.

cd ~/downloads  tar xzf nagios-plugins-1.4.11.tar.gz  cd nagios-plugins-1.4.11

Compile and install the plugins.

./configure --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagios-group=nagios  make  make install

7) Start Nagios

Add Nagios to the list of system services and have it automatically start when the system boots.

chkconfig --add nagios  chkconfig nagios on

Verify the sample Nagios configuration files.

/usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg

If there are no errors, start Nagios.

service nagios start

8) Modify SELinux Settings

Fedora ships with SELinux (Security Enhanced Linux) installed and in Enforcing mode by default. This can result in "Internal Server Error" messages when you attempt to access the Nagios CGIs.

See if SELinux is in Enforcing mode.

getenforce

Put SELinux into Permissive mode.

setenforce 0

To make this change permanent, you'll have to modify the settings in /etc/selinux/config and reboot.

Instead of disabling SELinux or setting it to permissive mode, you can use the following command to run the CGIs under SELinux enforcing/targeted mode:

chcon -R -t httpd_sys_content_t /usr/local/nagios/sbin/       (Tak Perlu Buat)  chcon -R -t httpd_sys_content_t /usr/local/nagios/share/      (Tak Perlu Buat)

For information on running the Nagios CGIs under Enforcing mode with a targeted policy, visit the Nagios Support Portal or Nagios Community Wiki.

9) Login to the Web Interface

You should now be able to access the Nagios web interface at the URL below. You'll be prompted for the username (nagiosadmin) and password you specified earlier.

http://localhost/nagios/

Click on the "Service Detail" navbar link to see details of what's being monitored on your local machine. It will take a few minutes for Nagios to check all the services associated with your machine, as the checks are spread out over time.

10) Other Modifications

Make sure your machine's firewall rules are configured to allow access to the web server if you want to access the Nagios interface remotely.

Configuring email notifications is out of the scope of this documentation. While Nagios is currently configured to send you email notifications, your system may not yet have a mail program properly installed or configured. Refer to your system documentation, search the web, or look to the Nagios Support Portal or Nagios Community Wiki for specific instructions on configuring your system to send email messages to external addresses. To resolve this issue, start the computer from the Windows XP CD, start the Recovery Console, and then use the Bootcfg.exe tool to rebuild the Boot.ini file. To do this, follow these steps:

Configure the computer to start from the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive. For information about how to do this, see your computer documentation, or contact your computer manufacturer.
Insert the Windows XP CD-ROM into your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, and then restart your computer.
When you receive the "Press any key to boot from CD" message, press a key to start your computer from the Windows XP CD-ROM.
When you receive the "Welcome to Setup" message, press R to start the Recovery Console.
If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot computer, select the installation that you have to use from the Recovery Console.
When you are prompted, type the administrator password, and then press ENTER.
At the command prompt, type bootcfg /list, and then press ENTER. The entries in your current Boot.ini file appear on the screen.
At the command prompt, type bootcfg /rebuild, and then press ENTER. This command scans the hard disks of the computer for Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000, or Microsoft Windows NT installations, and then displays the results. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to add the Windows installations to the Boot.ini file. For example, follow these steps to add a Windows XP installation to the Boot.ini file:
1. When you receive a message that is similar to the following message, press Y:
  Total Identified Windows Installs: 1
  
  [1] C:\Windows
  Add installation to boot list? (Yes/No/All)
2. You receive a message that is similar to the following message:
  Enter Load Identifier
  This is the name of the operating system. When you receive this message, type the name of your operating system, and then press ENTER. This is either Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.
3. You receive a message that is similar to the following:
  Enter OS Load options
  When you receive this message, type /fastdetect, and then press ENTER.
  
  Note The instructions that appear on your screen may be different, depending on the configuration of your computer.
Type exit, and then press ENTER to quit Recovery Console. Your computer restarts, and the updated boot list appears when you receive the "Please select the operating system to start" message.

Terdapat satu trik yang paling mudah sekali jika anda ingin menukar icon favicon blog yang terpapar pada navigation toolbar dan juga tab. Contoh icon favicon yang telah di tukar tersebut boleh anda lihat pada gambar yang di tunjukkan di atas.

Untuk menukar ikon tersebut, sila ikut beberapa langkah yang di tunjukkan di bawah.

Langkah 1

Bina satu image yang bersaiz 50px x 50px. Anda juga boleh menggunakan gambar muka anda sendiri jika perlu.

Langkah 2

Upload image tersebut pada file hosting. Anda juga boleh upload image tersebut pada post dan klik Saved. Seterusnya, salin URL image tersebut.

Bagi anda yang upload image tersebut pada post, URL yang di highlightkan pada contoh gambar di bawah adalah URL bagi image yang di upload itu.

Langkah 3

Paste URL image( rujuk langkah 2) dan paste pada teks Masukkan URL image di sini pada kod berwarna biru di bawah.

Hide My Drive Using "gpedit.msc"

Here is how to do it:

Step 1. Open Group Policy Editor (Press Win+R and type Gpedit.msc and press Enter)

Step 2. Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer

Step 3. Now on the right Hand side i.e Settings Pane look for Hide these specified drives in My Computer.

Step 4. Double Click on it and Enable it, now choose from the drop down box which drive you want to hide (I choose All – Restrict All Drives)

Step 5. Now click on Apply and click OK, now you can see that Hide these specified drives in My Computer is Enabled.

tep 6. Now logoff and login back to see changes.

How to revert back -

In order to get them back go to Gpedit and set the Hide these specified drives in My Computer setting to Disable. That’s it.

First, I suggest that you change the Default Programs from windows Media Player and check, follow the steps below:

1. Click Start.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Click Default Programs.

4. Click on Set as Default Programs.

5. Click on Windows Media Player.

6. Click Choose Defaults for this program.

7. Now uncheck the option for programs which you do not want to open With Windows Media Player.

8. Click OK.

If the issue still persists, then I suggest that you follow the steps below:

1. Click Start.

2. Click Run.

3. Type “regedit”.

4. Locate: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ FileExts \ .exe \ UserChoice

5. Delete the UserChoice key.

Note: Modifying REGISTRY settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of REGISTRY settings can be solved. Modifications of these settings are at your own risk.

Radio amatur merupakan salah satu daripada jenis komunikasi yang menggunakan peralatan radio dan elektronik. Penggunaan radio amatur di dalam bidang komunikasi amatlah luas kerana dapat digunakan bagi menghubungkan seorang yang berada samada di dalam kawasan atau ke seluruh dunia dengan menggunakan set radio amatur yang tertentu pada frekuensi yang tertentu.
Seperti yang diketahui umum bahawa komunikasi menggunakan radio amatur hanyalah sekadar bercakap sahaja, tetapi apa yang berlaku kini dengan perkembangan teknologi komunikasi yang begitu pantas, sistem perhubungan yang dahulunya menggunakan sistem anolog kini telah bertukar kepada sistem digital yang membenarkan kita bukan hanya dapat bercakap sahaja malahan dapat melihat seperti sebuah televisyen yang boleh dipancarkan hampir ke sebahagian besar dunia. Kebanyakan daripada pengguna radio amatur memancarkan signal mereka melalui satelit yang berada pada orbit di dunia ataupun menggunakan bulan sebagai pemantul isyarat bagi memancarkan isyarat yang dipancarkan oleh set mereka.
Terdapat juga sebahagian daripada mereka berkomunikasi menggunakan "kod Morse". Pengendali radio amatur merupakan sebahagian dari penduduk dunia yang mempunyai syarat penggilannya (call sign) sendiri yang merupakan pasport untuk ke seluruh dunia melalui gelombang udara. Sempadan negara, ideologi politik, warna kulit, pangkat atau kedudukan seseorang adalah sama sekali tiada di dalam dunia radio amatur, namun masih terdapat sebahagian kecil lagi negara di dalam dunia ini masih tidak membenarkan penggunaannya di negara sebagai sebahagian dari aktiviti pada masa terluang.
Keseronokan menggunakan perhubungan radio amatur oleh pengendali-pengendalinya ke negara lain menyebabkan sesetengah darinya menghasilkan ikatan persahabatan yang berlarutan yang pada mulanya perjalanan yang jauh menggunakan kapal terbang untuk menemui mereka. Mereka yang dihubungi melalui radio sahaja bagi mengeratkan lagi persahabatan yang sedia ada sebelumnya.
